Storipod is a microblogging and storytelling platform where writers, creators, and storytellers can publish short stories, called "Storis". The platform connects creators with readers in a social-feed format, similar to WhatsApp's status. It is designed to evolve into a creator marketplace where writers don’t just share content, but also earn real money from their creativities.
The microblogging platform is available as a mobile app on Android and iOS devices, making writing and publishing stories super accessible without needing a laptop. What makes Storipod different from other microblogging platforms like Medium and Substack is that, it lets creators share short stories in a scrollable feed, much like posting a WhatsApp status, but focused mainly on storytelling.
In addition to that, Storipod gives creators the ability to monetised their creativities without any requirements or meeting a minimum threshold. This means that you can start making money on Storipod as soon as you sign up to the platform. Currently, there are four different monetization methods on Storipod: Subscription-based content, Pay-per-story, Tips and donations, and Sponsored post.
The subscription-based content is a monetization method that let readers pay for monthly access to their favorite creator's works. The pay-per-story monetization method allows readers to pay to unlock premium stories. The tips and donations allow creators to receive supports from their audience, and the sponsored post opportunities give creators the privileges to receive brand deals from businesses.

Pult is an integrated analytics and metrics tool that's built into the Storipod app to help creators schedule content, publish content across platforms, track their content performance, and monitor their earnings as they grow their audience.
How to Use Storipod
Using Storipod is simple and super easy. First of all, you'll need to download the app on Google Play store or Apple App Store depending on the device you're using. Once the app is downloaded and installed on your phone, open it and register an account using your email address. Setup you account and start posting stories.

Storipod was founded by James Nelson, who started it after realising there wasn’t a platform that let writers share and get paid for short stories. He came up with the idea in 2022 while working at Interswitch and registered the Storipod domain that year. Nelson left his job later that year to focus full-time on building the product and has been leading its development with a small team ever since.
