In the past few months, I've been writing and creating tutorial content about my experiences with Facebook monetisation and payout setup. So, it's no longer a new thing seeing people having issues with payouts being processed but not paid into their submitted bank accounts.
In this article again, I'll tell you the mistakes you've made that are making your Facebook payout remain in process and what you will do to solve the issue. But first, I want you to know that if you set up your payout well, you'll not have any issue getting paid unless you're not patient.
Because it usually takes Facebook seven business days to process payments for US bank accounts and up to 10 business days for international accounts. However, if you're doubting the setup of your Facebook payout account, I already wrote a dedicated article for that with image illustrations that'll guide you through the process.

Now, let's talk about why your Facebook payout remains in process.
Facebook payout NOT paid. Why?
Of course, I understand that it's frustrating if hard-earned money is not paid at the expected time. In many cases, your Facebook payout might still be showing as processed. But don't worry too much because the reasons and solutions are what I'm uncovering in this article's section.
1. Wait time
Facebook published on their help page that it typically takes up to 7 business days to process payouts for banks that operate within the United States, while banks that operate outside the US take 10 business days or more for the payment to arrive. The delay happens because Facebook will need to confirm if your account or page is in good standing and that they're actively following monetisation guidelines.
Again, the delay may extend beyond Facebook's 7 or 10 business days, and the payment may not be credited; it's normal. In fact, Facebook might have updated your dashboard to show that the payout is processed. In this case, the delay is now caused by your bank. Your bank will need to run compliance and security checks on the payment before it's credited to your bank account.
In some cases, the delay might occur at the intermediary (correspondent) banks, as many international remittances pass through one or more intermediary banks before reaching the final bank. Each intermediary bank has their own way and time for processing payments because there are different banking systems and time zones involved.
So, if your Facebook payout is processed, the delay is likely with your financial institution.
2. Bank Info
Facebook monetisation is not available in all countries. If you or your bank are not in an eligible country, your Facebook payout will not be processed at all. So, make sure you and your bank are in an eligible country or try another payment option like PayPal. It's easy for Facebook to send payouts to PayPal without any delay.
In addition to that, it's important to verify your bank details to ensure they're correctly submitted. If your bank info is not accurate, the payout will not be processed. And if you make any change to your bank info, you'll need to wait for 3 days for the change to be effective. Facebook implemented the changes to bank info delays to be security conscious.
3. Incorrect Tax Info
If your tax info is not accurate with your full legal name or if the tax info cannot be confirmed, your Facebook payout will not be processed. In one of my YouTube videos, I explained how you can get the taxpayer identification number (TIN) online that works for Facebook payout settings.
When setting your payout account, make sure Facebook is able to confirm and complete your tax filing; otherwise, your payout after reaching the threshold of $100 will not be processed.
4. Policy Violation
Policy violation is another issue that might be causing your Facebook payout to still be showing as processed. If at the time you should receive payment and the payment is not coming in, check your Monetisation Manager for any policy violations or holds, which can pause payments. To do that, log in to your Facebook account and go to your profile.
Under "Profile", scroll down and click "Monetisation". Under monetisation, click "Policy" to see all issues you have on your account or page. Lastly, once all these tips have been carried out thoroughly, then you can check your Payouts Dashboard to confirm maybe the status has moved from "Processing" to "Paid".
Final Note
In conclusion, if the status of your payout shows "Paid" on Facebook, and you've waited for at least an additional 5 working days after the paid status, then you'll need to contact your bank to confirm the status of incoming deposits. But if the payout remains "Processed" on Facebook, then use the "Get help with this earning" button in the Transactions section of your payout dashboard to file a report to Facebook teams.
