Fact Check: Did Peller Has a Car Accident?

Nigerian TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller known, crashed his car live on Instagram while streaming from the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos. He titled the livestream “RIP Peller”, and the video clips show him visibly distressed before the crash.

In the video, Peller appeared emotional and upset. This emotional state was reportedly linked to relationship issues with his girlfriend Jarvis. He made alarming statements indicating fear and distress, including saying he was scared and expressing thoughts about harming himself.

Reports say he deliberately rammed his vehicle into a stone barrier after driving erratically during the live stream. The vehicle is a Mercedes-Benz, and was badly damaged. Peller was taken to a hospital after the crash, and no official statement has yet been released by the authorities or by Peller himself about his exact medical condition.
